The weekly free game policy from Epic Games Store, brings to us, this time around the opportunity for some great adventures in space with Surviving Mars... with Matt Damon's potato culture surely not being included.

Even if the game doesn't share much with The Martian it is still based on real life science. Surviving Mars is and indie adventure and a city building game, with the entire gameplay being based on real life data collected from the Red Planet.

The game offers you, as the player, an entire business ecosystem, to basically create a brand new world on a total different platform, borrowing a lot of aspects and mechanics from strategy games. The goal, is obviously, to build a successful colony that is ready to welcome rocket ships from Earth, with either people or cargo, that can help with the colony building even further, the main trick being the balance that the player must find.
