Ubisoft might not have a free games program in place after the model of the Epic Store, where they make a game available for free for a limited time, for all Uplay Users.

Even if they don't use this business model by letting you own one title forever, they have for you, instead, a free trial option.

Almost all the big titles that are published by Ubisoft, especially the live service ones, like The Division, Ghost Recon Wildlands and Breakpoint, or The Crew 1 and 2, they all have a free trial option.

The Division 2, being one of the most recent games of the publisher, just jumped aboard the list. As of now, Tom Clancy's The Division 2 offers every player with an Uplay account the opportunity to play the game for eight hours, or until they reach level eight within game, for free. If you dig the idea of experiencing the world of a looter shooter without getting too much involved and without getting yourself tangled in all the micro-transactions, the free trial is a good thing for you.

The free trial version is available on all plaforms, PC, PS4 and Xbox through the Uplay app, with no option for Stadia users.
