As the name itself states, this is a website dedicated to gaming that focuses a lot on the lack of funds. Playing video games since I was a kid, made me become passionate about this hole world. By this point I have played tons of video games and I have been hooked on many of the things the industry has to offer.

Even so, there is still a little problem there... money. As someone that doesn't come from the elite circles of countries in this world, the economic structure of my own country is not one that makes videos games that accessible. On this subject, generally speaking, not everywhere around the world the general income manages to cover a passion like this to its full extent.
But... there was hope somewhere, trading games with other people, borrowing games from friends, taking a gamble to see what free game will you get from buying a video game dedicated magazine, playing games at internet cafes for a much lower price than the standard 60 bucks the industry puts up.

Most importantly int this case are, of course, the free games. It is clear that if a game is free it's not going to be that big of a deal... recently that turned out to not be the case. Seeing big triple A franchises, like Call of Duty bringing a free battle royale mode through Warzone, or Destiny 2 becoming free to play, showed that you can get some of the greatest experiences in gaming without your wallet breaking a sweat.

Even better for everyone is the system put in place by the Epic Games Store, where you can get free games every week and they are yours to keep. That has been a blast for me, because I got to own huge titles from the world of gaming without paying a dime... and that is a great feeling, any many other companies followed this trend one way or another. If there is a big game out there for us but it's not free, the it must be some great deal somewhere on this great internet where you could pay from 5 to 10 dollars for the most recent big triple a game that is out on the market.

Taking all that into consideration, I must say it has been a real bummer to see that I had opportunities to get some games for free, or on a deal, but for some reason I missed them. As an empty wallet gamer, I'm not trying to put my wallet through a come, but I still want to take part in the adventure... this is the reason why EMPTY WALLET GAMING was created. This is a place created for gamers, a place where anyone can find out about the latest and best deals that can land you a huge triple A title in your gaming library for a couple of dollar, or that can inform you when big games become free for a limited amount of time and where can you get them.
This is a place that helps you keep your passion for games alive and at the same time it doesn't let the wind blow through your wallet or bank account.

The EWG website is one project out of many.
