Back to Pandora in the new Avatar game

It's definitely great news for all gamers, knowing that we will get to return to the wonderful world of Pandora. Last week, at this year's E3, right at the end of the Ubisoft Forward presentation everyone was caught by surprise with the announcement of a new Avatar game.

Even though the Avatar universe only contains one movie and one game, is engrained in everyone's minds, because we're talking about the highest grossing film of all time... and a mediocre at best video game tie-in.

As the universe seeks to expand with the promises of multiple sequels to the original movie, the video game counterpart seems to move in the same direction. It is unknown at this time how the game and the movie will corelate with one another but there is a bit of good news, because there won't be a clear copy of the movie this time around.

The new title in the series called Frontiers of Pandora, seems to be an open world game, which is very likely to have lots of RPG elements, considering that Ubisoft has basically moved almost all it's franchises in that direction, with the most obvious proof being Assassin's Creed.

When it comes to the world of Pandora, this type of gameplay fits very well, different levels for useable items, a crafting system, a progression system, a skill tree that can offer you different paths of progressing through the game, everything is just laid out there. With the new game things look promising, and the visuals of that outstanding environment will most definitely be the thing to steal the show. But, we have to keep patient because details are yet to be shared with the public since this was just a reveal event.
