One of the most anticipated games in recent years, Elden Ring, has delighted its awaiting fans with a little glimpse of what the game that is created by Hidetaka Miyazaki and George R. R. Martin has in store for all of us.
As much as we are all glad to see something related to this game, since we haven't seen anything after its official announcement, the whole news it's a bit bitter sweet.
The presentation wasn't pushed as just another trailer for the game, but instead, the first real look at the gameplay. While the trailer does deliver something, it's not the kind of clip that we are used to, being shorter than average and not showcasing too much of the real gameplay, other than just a few simple shots from which we can make an idea about the graphics and how the game will look.
To be honest, it's not a surprising showcase at all. Since the game it's under the signature of From Software, a lot of it resembles the Dark Souls and Demon's Souls style of gameplay and esthetic. The one thing that we can take away is that the Elden Ring, whatever its significance may be, is the centerpiece of the game, as the title implies, and it seems that the purpose of the game and its protagonist while be the wild chase for the mythical object.
