The game changing title from Hideo Kojima Productions, Death Stranding, surely made an impact on the gaming world. Creating a genre of its own, the latest Kojima creation has caught the attention of the players around the world with split impressions.
Even if it didn't delivered just as so many expected, the game became a classic. Backed by Sony after the split with Konami, Hideo Kojima had total creative freedom with his new project and regardless of the general opinion the game was jaw-dropping.
The game being originally a timed exclusive, was made available only on PS4. With the changes of tide that the gaming world goes through, and with cross-play becoming more and more popular, it was announced that Death Stranding will get a PC launch, with an original release date on June 2, 2020.
After Japanese prime minister, Shinzo Abe, declared a state of emergency on April 7th, the development of the PC port hit some setbacks. Also, the Tokyo based studio briefly closed in March after one employee tested positive for Coronavirus. Even if the guidelines didn't force such a decision, Kojima Productions took extra health measure to insure the safety of its employees.
Following those temporary setbacks that the company went through, a public announcement was made on Twitter, stating that the game PC release date has been pushed back until July 14.
