Project CARS 3 just got an official announcement

Not too long ago, in the gaming scenery and on our device a new racing game that later turned into a full fledged franchiser was launched. I'm talking of course about Project CARS. Fast forward a couple of years and we get to lay our eyes on the third entry in the series.

In what can be called a pretty packed genre, with many different approaches to racing from game to game and series to series, the original Project CARS got to set itself in a pretty good position. As far as gaming devices go, we are pretty used with our consoles and PCs. As the Forza series became the headlining racing game for Xbox and the Gran Turismo did the same on PlayStation, Project CARS took over the PC market as the third giant in the genre. Even if it's not an exclusive title and it's actually multi-platform, it was on PC where the game got to showcase the full length of its potential, a potential that has been improved from the first game to the second.

By this point we have seen some early gameplay footage that Slightly Mad Studios chose to showcase through a couple of select youtubers. The build that was presented is still an early version and it's unfinished, but even so there have been some complaints about the handling model, only to be shut down immediately by those who played the game. The concern here was that maybe the game was to arcadey... but that was only because the simplest handling model was chosen in order to suit better a controller instead of a racing wheel.

Besides that, there are not many things that can be extracted from the new game, but just today we got an official announcement and a trailer that mentions the game having a release window for this summer... which is right around the corner, and that is awesome news.
