The next level for PUBG

Since Player Unknown's Battlegrounds, or more commonly known as PUBG, has hit the market, it took the world of video games by storm and propelled the battle royale genre to new heights. The hype lasted for quite a while with the original game but eventually the market got oversaturated and the game fell behind.

The studio behind the game that bears the same name, made the move to mobile gaming eventually, as an attempt to regain the same popularity. After a while the developers have actually decided to take their adventure to the next level, the future.

In what seems to be a flip side of the coin move, after Call of Duty copied their formula, PUBG is doing the same, getting inspiration from the futuristic settings of recent Call of Duty games, bringing the future as the main setting of their new game, called PUBG New State.

The game will follow the same basic formula, but it will feature brand new maps, new weapons, gadgets, vehicles, clothes, all of that getting a futuristic makeover. Unfortunately, the news about this new release was not that great, because the next step for PUBG games is only reserved for mobile gaming, with PCs and consoles being stuck with the original game from 2018 for a while.
