Yesterday was a huge moment for the Assassin's Creed series... sort of. Ubisosft had a live stream event to announce the next title in the franchise. The live steam was about 8 hours long and people could watch live, the creation of the new game's wallpaper by the skilled illustrator, Boss Logic.

For quite a while now, rumors started to circulate around about he next game in the series focusing on vikings, and this was confirmed right from the very beginning of the stream. Still, people stuck around until the end in the hopes of a big reveal that never came.

The image that resulted from the long work of the illustrator looks absolutely amazing and the fact the the entire process was seen live, makes you appreciate the effort. The point that did not really made everyone happy is that they kept the identity of the protagonist secret.

As unusual as it is, it is an innovating way of announcing your game officially. At the end of the stream, Ubisoft dropped the bomb which will make everyone happy. After the official title announcement for Assassin's Creed Valhalla yesterday, Ubisoft will have a full presentation of the game, today April 30, where they will show the first trailer, allowing fans to get a glimpse into the next adventure in the series.
