The new generation of consoles is not even here, being set for release this Holiday season, but that did not stop Xbox from hitting everyone with a big announcement... literally.

Less than twelve hours ago, a trailer dropped on IGN's YouTube channel announcing the Xbox Series X's big brother, the Xbox Series XXL.

The video serves as an announcement trailer, so there's not much information to go on.

The main things that we can get from this trailer, is that this new console will be benefiting from 5G wireless connection, which will make things much faster and easier. The big piece of news is the size of it, being 400% bigger than the Series X. We all know by now that the design of Microsoft's new console sparked some good memes around the internet with, probably, the most notable one being the picture of a kitchen, where the fridge is replaced by the Xbox console. With the XXL that won't be a joke anymore.

That was as far as jokes went, but could this be real or just another little hoax? Even if the trailer looks professionally made and since it was published on IGN's channel, there are signs of this being a real thing. The giveaway though... besides the information already mentioned, the trailer also states that the new console will have a "big-ass power button" and "shitloads of ports".

As cool as it may sound, it is clear we will never see something like that on anything official. It might not be April's fools, but I guess 4/20 is as good occasion as the first day of the month for a good joke... at least not that many people expect it.
